Public Health Services - Jefferson City, MO - Contracted
Job Title: Public Health Program Specialist Must be a US Citizen and reside in the state of MO.
Essential knowledge and functions:
Experience developing training materials, including PowerPoints, handouts, and quizzes.
Must be able to accomplish program goals.
Ability to work with the Statewide Community Health Worker Advisory Committee.
Must research, draft and submit grant deliverables and their associated measures.
Ability to research, draft and submit grant deliverables and their associated measures.
Must assure timely preparation of federal reports, program updates, contracts and/or amendments to procure program services.
Must have background knowledge of chronic disease and recommended preventative care preferred.
Must have experience working with community partners and coalitions preferred.
Must have experience developing and strengthening internal and external partnerships.
Preferred qualifications/skills:
This is a highly responsible position requiring the contracted employee to work with a broad range of partners and stakeholders with varying levels of knowledge and expertise.
The contracted employee must have strong communication skills.
The contracted employee must also be willing to work as a team with staff and other program managers.
Must have proficiency in commonly used office computer programs is required.
Travel throughout the state is required with occasional travel for out-of-state training opportunities.
