Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Practice Medical Doctor (MD/DO) to join our client’s thriving practice in Forest Park, Georgia. This position offers a unique opportunity to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to patients of all ages in a community-focused setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of medical conditions, while promoting health and wellness through preventive care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide primary medical care to patients across to children, adults, and seniors.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring patient understanding and engagement.
Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as needed.
Conduct routine health screenings, physical exams, and preventive care services.
Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurse practitioners, specialists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using the practice’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Stay current with medical advancements, standards of care, and best practices.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with medical regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Georgia.
Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a family practice or primary care setting preferred.
Recent graduates from residency programs with a strong commitment to primary care are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and the healthcare team.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Other: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
