Job Description:
The Data Integration Services Manager oversees the daily maintenance, monitoring, and support of the Department’s Integration Broker (IB) service. This full-time role ensures high availability, timely incident resolution, partner onboarding, and alignment with service level agreements (SLAs). The manager leads performance reporting, manages stakeholder communication, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee monitoring of all data movement, translation, routing, and transmission to ensure process success.
Respond to integration service failures or errors, performing expert troubleshooting and timely issue resolution.
Conduct daily reviews of IB service process statistics to identify anomalies, reporting issues in line with SLAs.
Manage the onboarding of new trading partners, including setup, testing, configuration, and minor code modifications.
Lead monthly performance reporting and help desk activity tracking.
Serve as the primary service provider liaison to Department leadership, coordinating quarterly performance review meetings.
Ensure compliance with Department data security policies and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation on all integration services.
Provide effort estimates and analysis for new service requests or significant enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
10+ years of experience in data integration support roles, including healthcare data and regulatory compliance.
7+ years of project management experience coordinating stakeholder communication and task execution.
Strong technical understanding of integration engines (Cloverleaf, Mirth), encryption methods, and data transport standards.
