Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in both diagnostic and interventional radiology, with proficiency in vascular and non-vascular procedures. The radiologist will perform a range of interventional procedures and work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in both diagnostic and interventional radiology, with proficiency in vascular and non-vascular procedures. The radiologist will perform a range of interventional procedures and work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic radiologic procedures and interventional radiologic procedures across all patient age groups.
- Perform interventional procedures, including but not limited to:
- Vascular access
- Biopsy procedures
- Abscess drainage
- Embolization for abdominal or thoracic bleeding
- IVC filter placement
- Thrombolysis and other emergent procedures as determined by the Chief or Deputy Chief of Interventional Radiology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and Joint Commission Accreditation requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and adhere to professional and ethical standards in patient care.
- Board Certification:
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) or Maintenance of Certification (MOC) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology OR
- Board Certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with at least two years of post-residency experience performing interventional procedures.
- Licensure: Must hold an active, unrestricted medical license in a state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Experience: Proficiency in performing a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including emergent interventions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Must comply with all hospital policies and Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) requirements.
- Extensive experience in performing interventional radiology procedures independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with hospital-based interventional radiology practices and protocols.
- Hospital-based setting with access to state-of-the-art interventional radiology suites.
- Opportunities for collaboration with specialized medical teams.
- Participation in call schedules as needed.
