Job Title: Human Resources Manager – Classification and Compensation
Position Summary:
As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a key role in developing and managing our client's classification and compensation strategies. You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative approaches to compensation plans, analyzing market trends, and ensuring internal equity. In this role, you will collaborate with employees across all levels of the organization to provide strategic solutions that align with business objectives. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s Degree and six years of experience in human resources; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Candidates possessing Certified Compensation Professional designation may be given preference.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evaluate compensation and classification plan. Collect and analyze data from market-based compensation surveys and comparable public agencies. Review, analyze and research position descriptions to determine and approve proper allocation, as needed. Analyze complex classification requests. Perform desk and field audits and perform research as necessary.
- Collaborate with employees at various levels and provide strategic, proactive solutions related to classification and compensation practices.
- Participate in salary surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and analyze internal pay relationships.
- Develop and implement classification and compensation related policies for civil service, union and appointed employee groups.
- Ensure compliance with applicable, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Perform related work as required.
