Job Title:  Supply Technician

Job Summary:  Provide receipt and delivery of supplies and equipment to mobilizing and demobilizing troops at United States Property and Fiscal Officer (USPFO).  The supply Technician will assist personnel in the status of incoming supplies and equipment to mobilize and demobilize units at USPFO CIF.  This is a contract opportunity with 1 base year and 2 option years. The position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Operate all current LOG IT Systems.
  • Ensure all incoming receipts are loaded to the CIF inventory.
  • Provide an accurate filing system of all incoming receipts and turnin/pickup documentation in accordance with Army Record Information Management (ARIM).
  • Provide copies of all equipment received at CIF to Stock Record Officer (SRO).
  • Maintain an Excel database of all documents received.
  • Maintain an open document database on open requisitions and researches status weekly; and use of the web based site LOGSA is required to track status of incoming requisitions.  
  • Maintain an Excel Spreadsheet with running dollar value of all equipment received through CIF.
  • Maintain the CIF Management System which includes corrections that require Administrative Adjustment Report (AAR) adjustments.
  • Ensure the turn-ins and Material Release Orders are kept up to date in an automated system as equipment is turned-in (TI) and issued through the CIF.
  • Maintain the accuracy of unit hand receipts as soldiers demobilize or return from theater through recertifying clothing record discrepancies created by CIFs that have not removed turned in items. 
  • Process includes working with Excel Spreadsheets and capturing TI information from CIF.
  • Provide SRO with new Purchase Requisitions (PR) used to increase inventory in the CIF.  Process includes an assessment of the Total CIF Inventory Document to report shortages of inventory, based on the incoming units.
  • Build a spreadsheet for annual inventory tracking as CIF personnel do inventory.  Validate inventory result against automated records.  Research any errors or irregularities and make AAR adjustments.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work area.                          
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down work area, and ensuring 100% inventory on equipment turned-in (TI) and issued through the CIF while travelling to various NYARNG offices located throughout NY State. 
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work area
  • Coordinate appointments with NYARNG units. This includes sending reminders and ensuring proper parties are notified if appointments require rescheduling or cancellation. This process includes working with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Follow and enforce NYARNG USP&FO CIF Standard Operating Procedures
Skills, Qualification, and Related Requirements: 
  • High School Diploma or GED; college degree is highly preferred
  • Must possess computer operation skills using the following: 
  • Installation Support Module (ISM)
  • Outlook
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Word 
  • Excel Knowledge in Jet Form 5.2 and Fed Log are highly desirable  
  • Complete AT Level 1 training within 30 calendar days after contract start date and/or within 30 calendar days of new employees commencing performance.
  • Complete initial and/or annual Information Assurance (IA) training as defined in the IA Best Business Practices (BBP) training
  • Practice safe network and Internet operating principles and take no actions that threaten the integrity of the system or network
  • Complete the DoD IA Awareness Training before issuance of network access and annually thereafter
  • protect all PII encountered in the performance of services in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement
  • Complete Level I OPSEC training within 30 calendar days of their reporting for duty and annually thereafter.
  • Military or civilian supply background is highly desirable
