Position Summary:
Our growing personal injury law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney, Personal Injury Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience handling plaintiff or insurance defense matters and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients. This role offers excellent mentorship opportunities and exposure to all aspects of personal injury litigation, from case intake to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing a caseload of personal injury matters under the supervision of senior attorneys.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings as appropriate.
  • Review medical records, accident reports, and other case-related documents.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of case progress.
  • Negotiate settlements under supervision and prepare settlement agreements.
  • Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management.
  • Stay current with developments in personal injury law and procedural rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervising attorneys.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia and in good standing.
  • 1–3 years of litigation experience preferred; personal injury experience a plus.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Working Conditions:
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, regular communication with clients and court staff, and occasional travel to court hearings, depositions, and site visits as needed.
