Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including patient histories, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, managing patient care plans in alignment with evidence-based guidelines.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as necessary.
- Provide preventive care, including routine check-ups, screenings, immunizations, and health education.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated and continuous care.
- Counsel patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes to support long-term wellness.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the clinic's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Act as a resource for patients, families, and staff, providing education and addressing questions or concerns.
- Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia.
- Certification: Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through ANCC or AANP.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a family practice or primary care setting preferred.
- New graduates with exceptional clinical skills and training will be considered.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs).
