Reports to: Vice President, Accounting
Location: Philadelphia, PA Office
Position Summary and Essential Functions:
Seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide temporary support with accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and purchase orders
- Data entry into accounting software
- Record financial/accounting transaction activity for OFN and its subsidiaries
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Filing and organizing accounting documents
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by accounting management staff
Required Education and Experience:
- 2-5 years of direct accounting experience preferably in a nonprofit environment
- Associate degree in accounting a plus.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with MIP Fund Accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Understanding of accounting principles, particularly nonprofit accounting
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a timely manner
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Friday may be remote.
